Stained Glass is an art form that I’ve had an enormous appreciation for even prior to learning the craft. Learning about the old Gothic Cathedrals with their intricate glass work were some of my favorite sections back in Art History courses. In relation to my conceptual body of work dealing with the classical and romanic schools of thought, I’ve been contemplating the extremely classical approach to my stained glass practice and am excited for the future as I begin to inject this dualistic method.
