Classical/Romantic

This ongoing body of work explores the classical and romantic mind sets when approaching art. Not so much the differences but where they cross over. I’ve taken to making paper from receipts and paper grocery bag to add another “process” to my paintings. While the representational and nonrepresentational imagery bring you from classic to romantic then back again, the tactile nature of the hand-made paper speaks to both sides of the split.
