2D Foundations is most often the introductory course to studio art. Because of that, I approach this course as a vital beginning to understanding the dynamics of aesthetics. By breaking down the principles of design and how visual elements are relative and can be used, I create projects that challenge students’ relation to design while exposing them to a variety of 2D media.
