This show was an exploration into the connections between art and science with regard to how we interact with and understand the space around us. This investigation is done by engaging two and three-dimensional modes of creating and understanding artwork. Combining flat paintings on two-dimensional surfaces with grid-like constructs in three-dimensional space reflects my interest in various conceptions of space near and distant. By working in an intuitive, combinatorial mode I sought to evoke curiosity for what is known while pondering what is still to be discovered.
